  • Kate Tyrrell

    CEO & CO-FOUNDER

    Kate Tyrrell is a passionate advocate for climate change, Kate has been working within the EV industry since 2019 and driving an electric vehicle since September 2020.

    Kate's experience navigating an ever-developing landscape of public charge infrastructure and a few risky late-night charge situations has driven her to deliver an effective solution for motorists' safety when using chargers away from home.

    A firm believer in collaboration, Kate encourages the entire EV industry to work together to overcome issues of accessibility and women's safety in e-mobility to create an inclusive chargepoint infrastructure for everyone. Today, Kate is recognised as one of the most influential women in EV.

  • James Coyle

    CTO & CO-FOUNDER

    James Coyle is a software developer and business specialist with a thirst for knowledge and is an expert in programming technology to develop innovative solutions for increased business efficiency and user engagement through gamification.

    Since 2021, James' interest in renewable energy and electric vehicles has evolved as climate change has become a pressing issue. He brings a wealth of innovation and healthy curiosity to the business.

    James is responsible for having developed the multiple Award-Winning platform to enable mass data collection, gamification and asset performance management .

  • Guy Haydon

    NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Guy Haydon is an accomplished creative business leader and entrepreneurial strategist in the EV industry, boasting 7+ years of experience, primarily in start-ups and early-stage ventures. As the former UK Managing Director at Zaptec, he steered the company to prominence in the UK EV market.

    His career includes notable roles at Siemens, Instavolt, and Kuberg, a Czech electric motorcycle manufacturer. Guy's consistent presence on the Greenfleet 100 Most Influential list for four consecutive years underscores his dedication and influence in promoting ChargeSafe's mission, making him a formidable advocate in the industry.

  • Jonny Page

    ADVISORY BOARD

    Jonny Page is the Director of Decarbonise 2030. He is an experienced founder who has taken multiple companies from 0 to 1.

    His most recent success was building Cyan Finance, a green merchant bank. In their first 36 months, Cyan deployed £18m directly into early-stage climate startups and raised £8m in equity from external investors for our clients.

    Jonny is a passionate advocate for the future of EV and through his own experience of the UK’s infrastructure is a fantastic ambassador for ChargeSafe’s mission to improve safety & accessibility for all.

  • Claire Miller

    ADVISORY BOARD

    Claire Miller is the Director of Technology and Innovation at Octopus Electric Vehicles (OEV), part of the Octopus Energy Group.

    Claire works at the cutting edge of EV adoption and use cases for a smart connected grid, including the Powerloop vehicle to grid (V2G) project.

    With a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London, Claire has been named:
